A Site Coordinator is responsible for managing the overall operation of the Vote Center. During Early Voting, the Site Coordinator must ensure that the public count is recorded every night. Those results are transmitted via modem once all voters have finished voting and the Vote Center has closed for the night. The Site Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Board of Elections and the public, ensuring that all activities comply with local election laws. They are also responsible for reporting the vote count using the DS300.
Additionally, Site Coordinators must inform Poll Watchers, Election Observers, and members of the media about the rules of the Vote Center. They must ensure that electioneering does not occur inside the Vote Center or within 50 feet of the electioneering sign outside the location. Thank you for your service as a Site Coordinator.
