Hello and welcome to Site Coordinator Training. A Site Coordinator is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Vote Center. They serve as a liaison between the Board of Elections and the public, ensuring that all voting procedures comply with local election laws. During Early Voting, Site Coordinators oversees the daily opening and closing of the Vote Center. Additionally, they monitor Election Workers to ensure adherence to the Board’s protocols as well as all relevant rules and regulations. Each night, Site Coordinators are responsible for recording the public numbers from the DS300.On election night, final election results are transmitted via modem to DCBOE headquarters. Additionally, Site Coordinators must inform Poll Watchers, Election Observers, and members of the media about the rules of the Vote Center. They must ensure that electioneering does not occur inside the Vote Center or within 50 feet of the electioneering sign outside the location. Thank you for your service as a Site Coordinator. Let us begin segment 1!
